Middleton Technology School students embarked on an inspirational morning looking at university life.
Five of our Year 9 students spent a fruitful few hours at Hollingworth Academy sampling a taste of the university experience.
Students from around the Rochdale area learnt about the value of Russell Group Universities, and were introduced to the OxNet programme run by Pembroke College Oxford University.
Featuring an A-Level English Literature workshop, the morning’s final event was a video presentation from a student from Oldham, who shared her successful experience of applying to and studying at Oxford University.
An inspiring story for every student in the region, the final session also reaffirmed the message of “why not me” to each of the Middleton Technology School Year 9s.
