An update on two of the school’s star athletes, already highlighted last month.
We are delighted to report that both Niamh and Dindu – our 75m hurdler and 100m sprinter respectively – have been selected for the National English Schools Championships!
Phenomenal achievements from both students, and we’ll be sending them all of our best wishes and good luck when they take their place on the starting blocks on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th July.
The Year 10 Rounders team played the second round of their Rochdale Schools Competition fixtures this fortnight.
Across the two evenings, the girls played 6 games. Finishing outside of the medal positions, our Year 10 team still demonstrated excellent attitude, determination and resilience throughout.
